Do’s and Don’ts
- DO Back up files on the server before any changes
- DON’T Check search results in Google, Bing, Yahoo etc from the exact same IP Address (head to a coffee shop, library or turn on VPN)
- DON’T Login into your Google, Bing or Yahoo account while doing SEO
- DO Check client’s PPC and Affiliate programs (if any)
- DO Always spend some time looking at how your client’s competitors are doing
- DO Know and understand hand-coding
- DO An hour of link-building and low-end directory submission
